Open trapdoor fall
A male client, in his late 50’s and from Manchester has been awarded £17,500 in compensation following an accident in his local pub.
The client went behind the bar in the pub to collect a betting slip, which were kept there for customers to take. He fell down the open trap door into the cellar, fracturing his left wrist and causing abdominal injuries and a hernia.
