Holiday accident in a swimming pool
A lady came to us for help following an accident that her son had whilst on holiday in Cuba. The family had booked a package holiday through a well known tour operator.
The child, who was only 5 years of age at the time, was swimming in the hotels’ pool. He emerged from the pool with his hair matted and red marks to his arms. Later investigations proved that the pool was too heavily chlorinated and as a result the boy suffered chemical burns and severe hair loss. We secured compensation of £4500.
