Birmingham Care assistant's accident at work

The claimant was hit on her left wrist with a mop which caused swelling and pain. When the pain intensified the client went to her local A&E department where she was examined, x- rayed and advised to wear a splint. She also attended physiotherapy sessions.

As the pain continued she was referred to a consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. The clients claim for compensation settled in the sum of £6250.
