Accident at work
Our client in this case was the assistant manager at a nationwide tyre retailer. He suffered damage to his knee during after an accident at work.
He was required to retrieve tyres from an upper storage unit in the warehouse and was not provided with any ladders/ steps. Our client improvised with a metal shelving unit which consequently collapsed and caused substantial ligament damage to his knee.
The client was awarded £25,000 compensation for his injuries.
