A fall from a horse

In 2006, our client visited an equestrian centre with a group of friends as part of her “hen” weekend.
Whilst mounting one of the horses, the claimant fell heavily to the ground- suffering a severe fracture to her elbow. Surgery was necessary and metal pins were inserted into her arm. A great deal of assistance was required over the following weeks.

Our client was due to get married a month after the accident and whilst the wedding did go ahead our client suffered a lot of anxiety on the run up to the day and she could not partake in any sporting activities on her luxury honeymoon. The claimant received £18,500 compensation for her accident.
