Personal Injury in St Helens workplace
05.11.2010
Our client was employed by a well known company in their St Helens branch working in the kitchen when she sustained a personal injury to her lower legs.
While standing at a work top cleaning trays, a stack of wooden trays fell from a shelf below the worktop and struck her lower legs and feet.
The lady was immediately aware of the pain in her feet and legs and the swelling to her big toe. The client could not work for some time following the accident.
Following medical examination it was found that the client had sustained a fracture to her big toe. Her employers admitted liability early on in the claim and following confirmation that the client should not have any long lasting injuries the claim was settled in the sum of £5,100.
